Kathy’s practice includes labor and employment law, immigration law, and appellate practice in both state and federal courts.  Prior to joining the firm, Kathy was a judicial law clerk in the First District Court of Appeals of Ohio for the Honorable J. Howard Sundermann and for the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges.  Given Kathy's judicial law clerk experience, Kathy can assist with appellate needs in federal and state cases.  Kathy's practice also includes labor and employment law where she has defended a wide variety of employment matters before state and federal courts and agencies.  Kathy also handles a variety of employment immigration matters, including obtaining visas for clients with business purposes.

Kathy is an active member of the Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA) where she serves on the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees.  She also serves on the Steering Committee of the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers (CALL).  Kathy is a member of the Firm's Women’s Professional Development Group.

Kathy is an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Law where she teaches Street Law.  Kathy is also an avid movie buff, and she and Judge Sundermann are instructors for the CBA, the UC College of Law, and the National Judicial College on the topic of Law and Popular Culture.  She, her husband, Andrew Miller, and her dogs, Inca and Maya, are residents of Paddock Hills.
