Karen practices in the area of corporate law with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Graydon Head, Karen served as an intern and staff counsel to Ryder System, Inc. in Miami, Fla., where she focused on contract negotiations, customer disputes and acquisition matters. She earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 1996 and received her B.S.B.A. in Finance from East Carolina University in 1986. Karen is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant. She is a former Board Member of Cincinnati Area Senior Services, and she and her dogs perform pet therapy to patients in hospitals and nursing homes. Karen and her family live in Crosby Township, Ohio.
